NEW STARBUCKS ROASTERY MURAL
I am excited to announce that I have a new beautiful mural at the Chicago Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Michigan Avenue! The chicago Roastery will be the largest Starbucks in the World. As a public artist and community artist, I was selected to infuse the roastery with art that celebrates and honors Chicago. I created a variety of very intricate hand-painted patterns that symbolically represent all things Chicago, it’s architecture, people and environment as well as coffee culture and cultivation. I call my work biomorphic abstraction, using shapes reminiscent of nature and filled with pattern typography. Patterning is the most social and global of all art forms. This special art piece, titled Radiant Reverence is located on the 4th floor of the new Roastery.
